Finally, it works!
How to do this (you'll need
approx 12MBytes) :
You will need to flash your yopy with Mudamuda's filesystem (you can find it here too). This is to have a glibc2.2 filesystem (just because i didn't cross compile everything, i just grabbed it from debian packages).
next, take the frozen-bubble.tar.gz (current version is 02101701) , sdl.tar.gz, perl.tar.gz and ogg.tar.gz from here and unpack them from the root of the yopy :
cd /
tar zxvf /path/to/frozen-bubbleXXYYZZ.tar.gz (do the same for the other files)
run ldconfig
that's done! there's a launcher in yopy's menu. (for better gameplay, run it in low level graphics, with sounds and fullscreen activated)
Thanks to :
Frozen Bubble (for this great game)
Debian (for their Arm packages)
Still To Do :
redo the font and bubbles (currently, they're not very nice)
remove all the "2 players mode" code
remove code related to music
ChangeLog :
from 02101601 to 02101701
made the "low level graphics" the default
remapped the "pause" key to "p"
disabled music by default (I didn't include the music files because of their size : 5.1MBytes)
you can find the old
development page here.
Of course, all
you can find here is licensed under the terms of the GNU GPL, even if
I didn't take the time to include the sources or the license...
(actually, FrozenBubble relies on a script... so there aren't really
sources. And all i did with FB's sources can be found here or on the
dev page above... Sources that aren't explicitely listed here are
SDL, sdl::perl and things like that)
